2019 Missouri Association of School Librarians Annual Spring Conference will be held at Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach, MO on March 24-26, 2019.




School librarians are always accepting and conquering new challenges, and Spring Conference provides a great opportunity to connect with friends, share ideas, acknowledge accomplishments, recognize outstanding authors and books, and most importantly, celebrate all that we doMake plans now to join your colleagues for 3 days of professional development, networking and celebration.



Registration for the 2019 conference will open this fall.



They following award-winning authors and illustrator will be in attendance at this year's conference.

  • Gary SchmidtOrbiting Jupiter, 2017-2018 Truman Runner Up
  • Leslea Newman - Ketzel, the Cat Who Composed (author), 2017-2018 Show Me Winner
  • Amy June Bates - Ketzel, the Cat Who Composed (illustrator), 2017-2018 Show Me Winner


Exhibiting at our Spring Conference is a great opportunity for you to meet those who buy or influence purchases throughout the year.  Our attendees are looking for fresh concepts and products that will help educate their students. 

Registration will open this summer.


The beautiful Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach will again be our host for the Spring Conference.


Keynote Speakers

Liv Van Ledtje - Sunday Afternoon General Session 

Olivia (aka LivBit) is a 10-year old who is a passionate advocate for books and using social media to promote student voice and audience. Olivia's work on LivBits has been featured all over the world, including conferences in Singapore and England. John Antonetti - Monday Administrator & Awards Lunch

John Antonetti is a learner, teacher and author.  He has taught A.P Chemistry and Kindergarten and most grades in between in his home state of Arkansas. Antonetti is the author of the book, Writing as a Measure and Model of Thinking which utilizes the engagement cube and practical tools to increase student thinking in all subject areas.  He has had the great fortune to visit classrooms throughout North America in an effort to answer the question “What truly engages learners?”  Visit the Colleagues on Call website to learn more about John and his work.
