The Gateway Reader Award is currently accepting applications for its Gateway Grant. The purpose of the grant is to provide copies of the 2011-2012 Gateway Nominees to two deserving school libraries. We want all students in the state to have the opportunity to read current, quality young adult literature and to have the opportunity to vote for the Gateway nominees. The goal of the grant is to help struggling schools overcome budgetary and economic constraints so that they might promote reading and the Gateway program to its students.
