Come and collaborate with fellow librarians about what you are doing in your library.

Collaboration Topic: Is Dewey outdated?  How do you organize your library?  Have you considered new ways to organize your library?

 

9:30-11:00 workshop – C is for Common Core

Presented by Dr. Cutbirth from SWRPDC

Are you ready for common core standards?  Do you know how they will affect your library?  How can you help implement the common core?  Come and hear about these topics and more.

workshop Choice 1:  eBooks 101

Presented by Meggan Moore from the Springfield-Greene County Library

Learn how to use the downloadable catalog, how to download to different types of devices, and how to use it in your library media center.

 

workshop Choice 2:  Collaboration Lesson Share

Presented by you.  Bring a lesson idea that you have used to collaborate with another teacher.  We will divide by elementary and high school.

 

Vendor’s displays – visit vendors before or after you eat.

Vendors will showcase their electronic resources in two twenty minute sessions.  You may choose to attend two presentations.
